ADITI JAIN
COFOUNDER
Aditi has gone on to attend UC Berkeley, studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) after graduating from Arnold O. Beckman High School in 2023. Her passion for art drove her to co-found Colorstry, an organization rooted in the mission of leveraging art as a means of service. From murals at schools to workshops with shelters, Aditi will miss the connections with passionate students and collaboration with under-resourced communities through Colorstry. She is looking forward to integrating engineering and art in her future career and eager to pursue opportunities at the intersection of leadership and service!
ALLISON SU
COFOUNDER
Allison Su graduated from Arnold O. Beckman High School in 2023 and is pursuing higher education. As somebody who plays the violin and piano, she has grown to have a profound passion for music and the arts. Through Colorstry and its mission to integrate arts into the Orange County community, Allison has developed a passion to teach others about the arts and their importance to society. She hopes that in college, she can continue exploring her passions in the arts and hopefully expand Colorstry’s mission into her future campus.
AMINAH RANGWALA
Former Chief Operations Officer
Aminah first joined Colorstry during the COVID-19 pandemic as the COO and fell in love with the diversity of connecting the passions of the arts and her community together. Her experiences at Colorstry have helped shape some of her future passions within her career interests, specifically with helping her community. Aminah is attending the University of California, Irvine, and majoring in Biomedical Engineering: Pre-medical where she hopes to pursue a career in clinical science or an occupation in the healthcare field. Her time with Colorstry has helped her create strong, foundational friendships, and decorum skills, and even enhance her artistic abilities. Aside from Colorstry, she enjoys listening to music, watching Netflix shows, and hanging out with her peers.
AZRA TABAK
Former Chief Executive Officer
Azra Tabak first joined Colorstry during her freshman year after a peaked interest in helping her community through the arts. Since then, she has grown alongside Colorstry and has created life-long relationships, meaningful memories, and an extraordinary impact on her community. After serving as the Chief Financial Officer for three years, she took on the role of Chief Executive Officer her senior year. Azra was proud to have shaped Colorstry, and in-turn, Colorstry shaped her. Azra has gone on to attend University of California - Irvine, after graduating from Arnold O. Beckman High School in 2024.
Gigi Lau
Former Chief Executive Officer
Gigi Lau became an active member of Colorstry since her freshman year, serving as one of the two Chief Operations Officers. She took on the role of Chief Executive Officer with Azra Tabak in her senior year. The exploration of art had always been apparently important in her life. Gigi enjoyed maneuvering through different art forms such as—but not limited to— film, music, and painting. She shared her passion for art with others to uplift and embrace them with the beauty of creativity.
MAY ALLEN
Former Outreach Director
As a junior at Beckman High School, May had
a great love for drawing, painting, and everything artistic! She was excited and grateful to serve Colorstry as
an outreach director in 2023, and developed an admiration and passion for Colorstry’s mission and impact. In her free time, May loves to swim at the beach, roller skate, and play with her chihuahua, Cali!
ASHLEY LEE
Former Website Manager
Ashley joined Colorstry in the fall of 2022, inspired by the active dedication of the organization. As the website manager, she utilized her insight, design skills, and artistic background to help further Colorstry’s mission. Ashley enjoyed creating fine art, designing and making garments, and shopping for clothing. Additionally, she also spent her time playing video games with her friends while being an diligent student proficient in the humanities.
YAMILE LOPEZ
Former Chief Financial Officer & THS Chapter Lead
Yamile Lopez attended Tustin High School, and she served as the Chief Financial Officer and THS Chapter Leader for Colorsty. Since her freshman year, Yamile showed great passion for the arts and community service. She was deeply involved in serving the community through Colorstry, as well as Model United Nations program. Yamile was an exceptional leader and artist, and she contributed greatly to expanding Colorstry's outreach!
ALISON KWOK
Former Chief Operations Officer & Publicist
Alison Kwok has gone on to attend UCSD pursuing a career in the medical field. She joined Colorstry in the summer of 2022, and developed a great sense of admiration and respect for the values of the organization and its mission. Attending Arnold O. Beckman High School, she held the position of Chief Publicist and Chief Operations Officer for the organization. Not only that, Alison's greatest contributions were her mural designs for our large-scale mural projects, as well as her dynamic video edits. Excited to see what Alison achieves in her future!
